Whitlock and Heaps is a family run independent estate agents specialising in all property matters. Whitlocks has been established for over 60 years. The offices are on the corner of Blatchington and Sackville Road and to many local residents the prominent position is known as 'Whitlocks corner'.
 
Our firms aim is to maintain the high level of standards that have been expected and achieved over the years, with many clients having sold and purchased their properties through our firm now recommending their children to us to purchase or rent their first home. Whitlock and Heaps have just under gone a complete rebrand including refurbishment of our offices, a new logo with redesigned boards, eye catching external lighting, showcases and high quality laminated gloss sales particulars. All our properties can be seen on the four major national property portals 'Rightmove', 'Findaproperty', 'Prime Location' and 'Zoopla' and our own new upgraded site which enables people to register direct with email alerts as soon as properties become available.

Peter has been working from our offices in Sackville Road since 1978 when he worked under the guidance of Roy Whitlock the Senior Partner, before purchasing the business in 1985. Peter became a fellow member of the National Association of Estate Agents in 1987 specialising in all property matters and is now in a position to offer a wealth of local knowledge and experience when advising prospective vendors and purchaser on all property matters.

Peter initially started dealing with property letting in 1996 when a local solicitor passed away. Peter was asked by the family to handle the management of his property portfolio, since then our letting department has grown from strength to strength with Whitlocks & Heaps now having a very pro-active letting section.

Our firm has stood the test of time during two property recessions making us acutely aware of people's expectations when instructing an estate agent to either manage or sell their property. We are a progressive and vibrant firm looking to set high standards that are maintained and improved on an ongoing basis from customer care through to innovative ways of marketing your home.
 

Jack started in estate agency in Burgess Hill seven years ago for Duffy & Co, from there Jack joined another large Independent estate agency in Haywards Heath. Mark Revill is where Jack specialised in property sales ranging from £80,000 to over £1,000,000. Jack gained a wealth of knowledge in property matters working with the senior partners of both of these well respected firms, but his passion has always been to work alongside his father whose business continued to grow thus giving him the opportunity to join the practice with the desire to expand the business even further.

Since joining the firm in the early part of 2010 Jack has handled the rebranding of the company, dealt with residential sales and lettings and is enjoying the vibrancy of working in such a cosmopolitan City as Brighton & Hove.
